What We Offer
A half-day workshop that offers the actor a chance to work out just what they need for the showcase. We help our actors to choose a duologue that will showcase them at their very best and then pair them up with another member of the cast to work on a duologue, ensuring their versatility as a performer is displayed. We then discuss letter writing skills, casting directors, agents, and theatre companies to approach and how best to do this. The workshop is led by Acting Career Coach and former Agent, Nicky Raby.
Actors are supplied with professional e-invitations, designed and ready to be sent out to agents and casting directors.
Casting Days employs a professional director to work with the actors on their monologue and duologues. Our director also works on the whole piece making sure it is strong and enjoyable for all those watching. You can find more information about our director here.
A week before the showcase, the actors attend a full day rehearsal with the director to work through their monologues and duologues. They also get advice and support for the upcoming showcase.
Theatre in the West End
Casting Days understands that in order to get agents and casting directors to attend, the theatre needs to be very central. Our showcases are hosted at the Jermyn Street Theatre, Piccadilly; Winner of The Stage’s “Fringe Theatre of the Year” Award.
After the showcase, complimentary drinks will be available for our guests, served by us, so that the actors can focus on networking with the industry guests, speak to the audience and give out their headshots and CVs.
Actors are provided with a full audience list so that they can follow up with any industry guests who attended the showcase. An extremely important aspect to any showcase.

I did not want to say anything before, until I had a meeting with Kenneth, but I am now represented by Kenneth Earle Management who I got through the showcase. Thank you and Felicity for everything and I wish you the best of luck in the future!
